NASCAR Fans React as Poll for Ryan Blaney-Starrer All-Star Race Shows Glaring Results

The long-awaited NASCAR All-Star race at Texas Motor Speedway is finally over. And, we saw the Team Penske driver, Ryan Blaney take the checkered flag and collect the $1 Million prize. Of course, it was an awesome race for the team.

However, things did not quite work out for NASCAR. Infact, NASCAR Journalist. Jeff Gluck posted a poll on Twitter, asking the fans if the All-Star Race was a good one. And, 90% of the fans (at the time of this reporting) voted “No”. Fascinatingly, the All-Star race wasn’t as much of a success as NASCAR might have hoped.

Bubba Wallace And Chase Elliott Suggested NASCAR Should Change The Venue

The Athletic asked various NASCAR Drivers what they could do to improve the All-Star race. And, 23XI Racing driver, Bubba Wallace opened up about his dissatisfaction with the venue.

Wallace said, “The All-Star Race should float, it should be like other major leagues that float their All-Star games, too. Pick your best markets and build off that. If (a track) is suited for us, I think we should look at different avenues. I mean, it’s an All-Star Race; it shouldn’t be in the same spot every year.”

And Wallace isn’t the only one! Hendrick Motorsports’ golden boy, Chase Elliott wanted the venue changed too. In fact, he had two reasons for having the All-Star moved.

The first reason was, “I think that’s what that race was initially designed to do. To move around, and give fans in a different region a special event”.

The second reason was fairly selfish, but it still makes sense as he hasn’t had much luck at the track. He said, “To get away from Texas would be a major win for me, the lesser times we visit Texas, the better. I would love that, that would be great”
